I thought it was about time I wrote about how things are going with my art so here are one or two recent things that have happened.
I submitted two drawings to this years UK Coloured Pencil Society's annual exhibition and I was delighted when both were accepted.
I was even more pleased when 'Pole line capacitor', shown here below was awarded 'Highly commended'.
As well as receiving this award I also gained signature status with the UK Coloured Pencil Society!
Last year I was asked by Leisure Painter magazine if I would like to contribute to the magazine.
Oh yes, of course I would!
It turned out that they wanted two articles.
Part one was an introduction about my process, techniques and materials etc. This edition was published 16th September.
Part two will be a step-by-step demonstration of drawing a cat (Poppy) This edition is on sale 21st October.

My drawing of 'Pip' was selected for the Artists & Illustrators magazine Editors pick Portfolio plus gallery.
This months theme is Pet Portraits and I'm chuffed that the gorgeous Pip was chosen.
